About Me

A little about myself...
I completed my Bachelor & Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Montreal in 2016. Following my graduation, I mainly worked with people suffering from mental health disorders - it's through my work with them that I truly understood the importance of respecting one's pace and rythm, and meeting them where THEY are at, as opposed to where 'they should be'.

I moved to BC in 2019 and have been working with the pediatric population for a little over four years now, and have simply fallen in love with the work I can accomplish with children - they teach me just as much as I teach them! I have worked with children on the Autism Spectrum, as well as children & teenagers with ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, Sensory processing disorder as well as varied anxiety disorders and mental health issues. I am currently listed on the Registry of Autism Service Providers (RASP).
Through my education and past employments, I developed specific knowledge on sensory processing & sensory regulation, as well as toilet training and selective eating & food aversions. My interventions are evidence-based - as you may know, research and findings evolve continuously, which is why I make sure to keep my practice updated through readings and various workshops.
I have developed a passion for helping others, and believe in a client-centered and collaborative approach, where the child and families' needs are carefully considered throughout the process. I am a huge believer in baby steps and little successes, and make sure to provide positive reinforcement to help children and families build confidence in reaching their full potential.
